New Neurons Better Brains

For the last four hundred years the belief has been that we all will die with the exact same brain we had when we were born. Recently researchers have proven that neurons can be developed and we can keep our brains smart and also improve on our abilities.

Daniel Amen and many other neuropsychiatric specialist have given graphic ways to train brains and better our lives at the same time. The brain reacts positively to new challenges but will not grow if the challenge itself is repeated often. To connect the neurons training must be innovative and relatively new.

In our office we train brains daily and have seen remarkable results. Memory improves, abstract thinking is more useful and readily available. PTSD is helped by training the brain to replace “triggers” with positive thoughts and learning disorders make progress academically.

This new approach to mental ability and mental training is exciting and may someday change the way we look at degenerative diseases of the brain. At present we are working with individuals who feel they are at risk for brain difficulties. The outcomes are exciting !

Science is growing in many areas daily and it is extremely exciting to be involved with making brains better. Contact us if we can help, we are here with many ideas and useful approaches.

Try some of the “better brain” activities:

1. Word Search
2. Scrabble
3. Recall nursery rhymes or poems while you exercise
4. Try rhythmic breathing, in 1-2-3,hold 1-2-3 exhale 1-2-3 this will signal the brain that it is time to relax and remember
5. TAlk to yourself in a positive voice

Tru these ideas and you will recognize growth and changes mentally

Exciting News for Asbergers and ASD

We have made an exciting discovery affecting the behavior of many of the children we service. For many years we have usd the Pffeifer Clinic with Dr.Walsh and other dedicated scientist. The nutritional prescription brought positive changes to many. However, the cost has become prohibitive so I have spent months looking for replacements. The product AGAPE has filled this need. It is a liquid, tasting like mango and has had exciting results in many of the people we work with. Behaviors have changed, anger control has improved and many other results. Plese look into this product at AGAPE .com and learn more about it. If you decide to try it, please let us know since we are using the small profit to further our foundation work of free theapies every Saturday here in Phoenix. If you live near us call us at 601-912-0609 and let us help you.

I have not been this excited for many years and love the changes we are seeing.

Let us know if we can help!

This morning I worked with an athlete that is in a “slump” and cannot get around it. Many of us have failed at least once in our lives. The more we have failed the more sensitive we become to another failure and the more our behaviors change. I thought it might be useful to talk about dealing with failures of all kinds, either in sports, business, or personal life. It is true that having failed has a bearing on how we meet future risks, and costs us opportunities due to fear of failure.

When you are dealing with failure ask yourself these questions:

1. What caused the situation you or others?

2. What causes can you change?

To answer these focus on your strengths and abilities then overcome the situation by:
1.Remember the situation and recall how you felt

2. Write down these answers on a piece of paper

3. Draw a a picture of how you felt

4. Give this feeling a color NOW TEAR THE PAPER UP AND THROW IT AWAY AND THE FEELING SHOULD BE GONE. Try this and let me know how it worked for you.

Starting out

Today is the first day of my “blogging” experience. I hope that there are many of you who are interested in knowing about and discussing the new knowledge that is available concerning making new brain neurons to replace any that have “gone astray” due to stress, PTSD,etc

The field is new but well rewsearched by neurologists such as Daniel Amen, and many others. It is exciting and  every day I will try to share  ways that you can work to develop your brain for peak performance, stress management and executive thinking. I woul be interested in what you think and how you feel you would become invovled in such discusssions. Please let me know and I will look forward to sharing.
